Daily Reflection

Today there was not a lot done. The only thing that was done was the zoho slide show. That was the only good thing that we did on our project. One thing that didn’t go well that we did not have full time to do our project, but we have an option to work on it during chess. Tomorrow we are going to work on make final touches. Tomorrow we might only have a little bit of time so we will use all the time we have to finish our project.

Daily Reflection

A lot was accomplished today. One thing that went good was that I finished the research paper. Another thing that went well was we had more info for the events page. We also got another Go Animate going. The last thing that went well was that I got our outline fully typed, but it looks kind of weird so I will fix it. Not having enough time to  fix  our outline  was  one thing that didn’t  go well. One thing that we will do better next time is try to wrap up our project. On Monday we will record our voices for the screen cast and that will be the last new thing we will do. I can’t wait until Monday!

Daily Reflection: March 29, 2011

Today was great! As a group we had to talk about what are finished project would be. One thing that went well was that Vanessa & I got at least some of the research paper done while Kit-Kat worked on the front page. I think our blog is more welcoming. Don’t you think its welcoming? One thing that didn’t go well was that we didn’t record our video which is going to be a screen cast. One thing that will go better is that we already know what we are going to do tomorrow so we could get right to work. Tomorrow we will continue to work on what we did today. Maybe we will be able to record our screen cast tomorrow. I hope tomorrow will be better!

Daily Reflection

Today went well. One thing that went well was that we stared writing 2 scripts for our films. We are actually planning on doing three films, but we didn’t do the 3rd script one today. One thing that didn’t go well was that we did not get a chance to work on our 3rd script. Tomorrow we will wrap up the  2 scripts and start the 3rd script. We will do better next by working on all the script by editing them and coming up with new ideas for the background to use when we film. I hope tomorrow will go well.

Daily Reflection: March 21

Today we finally finished our essay. Our essay turned out to be expository writing instead of persuasive, but we still typed our essay. The good things was the we got the writing  done. If you want to see it obviously go to the writing page and look at it. One thing that didn’t go well was fixing the categories for the links. Its hard to fix the links since I have to look at the links individually to fix the category. One thing to do better next time get really focused so that we could get the links fix and start working on our about page because it needs to be updated.

Day 13

Today was great! What went well was that we finished half of the persuasive writing. We all wrote separate paragraphs. After we write our paragraphs we will combine it for the final draft. Something that didn’t go well was that we only got some of our rough draft on the writing page. We also didn’t have the full rough draft done. Tomorrow we will finish our rough draft on paper. We will also type our final rough draft. I think tomorrow will be a successful day!

Day 12

Today sort of went well. Our group was mostly working on our persuasive writing today. What went well was that we figured what our writing was basically going to say. We also know how our writing is ordered because we are basically using our outline. Something that didn’t go well was that we didn’t type what we had so far in our rough draft. What we will do next time is type what we wrote in our rough draft so far.

Here’s the Answer….

The answer for last week Monday’s poll had 9 votes.  Well, it’s good enough.  The correct answer is the Pacific Ocean.  Great job if you answered that!

Explanation:
Most tsunamis occur in the Pacific ocean as it is located on a plate mostly made of water. The Pacific ocean is also surrounded by the Ring of Fire, a highly active volcano and earthquake zone. The Ring of Fire circles the ocean from Alaska down to the west coasts of North and South America and up along the east coast of Asia, taking in parts of China, Japan and Russia. Tsunamis can only occur in coastal regions; islands are the main targets.

Day 11

Today we met with Mr. Clarken to understand weather more.  He was a big help!  Thanks Mr. Clarken!  After we met, we started reading our science book to understand the topic.  In the computer lab, Vanessa changed our header picture while I was working on the F.A.Q’s.  Jenessa couldn’t do those because she was working on her presentation but it was okay because we still got a lot done.  At lunch recess, me and three other kids were sent to Mr. Crosbie’s room to check something out about something that will help us get better on our Project Hubs.  They are GoAnimate and Zooburst and I’m going to work on it.  All of those are what went well and nothing actually didn’t go well.  Tomorrow we will do the same which is get a lot done and learn new things to help us out.

Day 10

Today in C-6 we didn’t get work done. I hope on monday we get some work done.  Reading a science book over the weekend will be very helpful. The question im looking forward to answer is ” What is weather?” I hope I have “good luck” and find my answer!
